Do I need construction experience?
No! You are trained in home construction from the ground up.
Do I need to bring my own gear?
We supply your PPE free. You get to keep it when you graduate and complete the program.
What if I need assistance with childcare?
There is financial assistance for childcare costs for those who qualify.
Where does training happen?
Right in Missanabie Cree, in your own community
How long is the training program?
The program runs from July 21 to Aug 8 and starts again August 18 to August 22
Do I have to attend the entire training program to graduate?
Yes.
What is included in the Health & Safety Training Certification?
You receive H & S certification in Forklift training, Confined Spaces, Asert Fire & Spills, Working at Heights, WHMIS training, Chainsaw safety, Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Tool Safety and more. This equips you with certification to apply for work in mining and construction.
